Tony and Stephen both sent him scathing looks. “Obviously,” Stephen said, tone derisive, an implication in his voice that Wong needed to stop underestimating them.
Wong wasn't underestimating them. He was estimating just about right. When this blew up in their faces, he was going to laugh.

Summary
Stephen had been in love with Tony Stark for so long, and through so many different timelines, that the feeling had become a fixed part of his being, something that was just there, fully intertwined with his very soul. Something that was treasured, something that gave him strength and comfort when he needed it, something he held close to his heart without even consciously being aware of it.
(Sometimes a timeline has to bend and twist to make things that are supposed to be happen.)

He knows that Stephen won't hurt him, might even help him, but he isn't expecting the anger that the sorcerer displays when he explains what's happened.
