FIO was about Gibbs and Tony starting up a serious, romantic relationship, much to their own surprise, and Second Law is about them settling in and continuing to figure out how to balance the different aspects of their lives. This is therefore certainly a slash story!
This series goes AU right after the season 7 episode Obsession; the Mexico storyline never happened.
