Canon divergence in which Háma shoots Wulf after his brother and father have gone down. This changes many things.

His mother's mare is old now, but age brings wisdom and an archer is only so dangerous as his horse is trusted. She gets him where he needs to go. Wulf dies with an arrow in his throat, just as Haleth had. A second lodges deep in his belly and a third clips General Targg's shoulder as he dives to catch his lord, too late. Háma does not stay to see his corpse tipping over the edge of the watchtower, nor pay any mind to the hideous crunch and snap of a body breaking, just turns his horse and sprints for his family.- Language:
