It's not like Cybertronians died with Cybertron. You all are a little too tenacious for that. For one, there's the colonies, different breeds of dystopic though they may be. There's the more giving of the organics, if you can convince them you're worth the trouble of sheltering you from the Consortia. There's work, when you know where to look for it.
Even running from your own, you're clearly still kicking, right? So surviving can be done. It's just a little tricky, that's all.
