Summary
Green Lantern and Batman are sent to another planet to try to stop a war that would consume a vast part of the galaxy.
However in the middle of the mission the planet is attacked by a power hungry species who thrive on war. To protect the lives of everyone on the planet Batman surrenders himself to the leader of the species. Summary
In the early days of the Justice League the team are unsure if they can trust Batman without knowing his identity. A device borrowed from the Lanterns allow them to ease their doubts without invading his privacy.
The user will enter a non-corporeal state for seven days so they can follow their target, see and hear everything they do. When it ends they will forget everything they saw, but whatever opinion they form in that time will remain afterwards. If they see them being kind, they will emerge with a good opinion of them. If they see them being cruel, they will emerge with a poor opinion.
The last thing Hal expected was to come out of using the device with a crush.

A dark look crossed the Lantern's face at the obvious disbelief in the Bat’s tone. “You got a problem with that Spooky?”
“No problem. I’m just fairly confident it isn’t true.”
Hal felt a wave of irrational anger flow through him. “Why not? You don’t think I’m good enough to get the attention of a gorgeous billionaire is that it?”
Hal was an attractive guy. He was interesting and cool. Knew how to have a good time. He could totally be dating Bruce Wayne.
