Summary
Kaz Brekker has torn Pekka Rollins down. Brick by brick - just like he'd promised. Having wiggled himself into a position to inherit all of Rollins' estate, he finds himself at court, playing the same old tricks on fatter pigeons.
Inej Ghafa is desperate. Lady Nina is to be married soon, and when that happens she will be returned to Tante Heleen and the Menagerie. Her only hope is to convince the newest noble at court - the dangerous Lord Brekker - to buy out her indenture.
Needless to say: nothing goes as planned for either of them.

"I can have him dead by tonight," He said, “If you don’t mind the Van Eck household getting involved.”
Inej stared at him.
“That's it? You’ll help?” She asked dubiously.
Kaz frowned.
“Would I have bothered to listen if I wasn’t going to?”
"No 'what's in it for me'? What happened to never something for nothing?”
"Well, it’s lucky for you that there's already something in it for me, isn’t it?"---
Inej needs a powerful man dead. Kaz, busy conducting 'renovations' across the West Stave and feuding with famous stage actors, is glad to have the opportunity to eliminate a threat.

Summary
Fox survived Order 66 just long enough to die a painful death at Darth Vader's hands. But instead of reuniting with his brothers in death, he wakes up a child almost four decades into the past. Fuck this, he and his brothers might barely be a idea in a troubled jedi master’s mind at this point, but its not going to stop Fox from fucking with the Sith’s plan for intergalactic domination (and maybe commit a little murder, as a treat).
Of course that is if he can hunt someone down and tell him what is going on here first. Added bonus if he can keep out of the Mandalorian civil war and far away as possible from Prime, somehow. If in the process he gains a brother when he loses millions, and finds a home for the first time in two lifetimes, well, that's just his dumb luck.

Seeking knowledge, power, and control of a djinn, Ventress breaks the Sith spell that has been keeping Darth Vader in stasis for centuries. Finally, she can prove to Darth Tyrannus that she doesn’t need him. She can do Grown Up Sith things, like perform blood-magic.
Maybe she should have used her own blood for the ritual, though.

Vader isn’t sure why there’s a war going on or why there’s an army of clone soldiers but he doesn’t really have anything better to do at the moment anyway, so he’ll just stick around. Besides. Fives and Rex and the rest of the 501st are kinda fun? And aggravating Master Kenobi is becoming a hobby.
