Sometimes life puts obstacles in your way. But sometimes you live in Gotham... which is basically the same thing...
We don't stick to any facts or data, but just throw our heroine - who actually had enough to do with deceitful businessmen during the day and crazy villains at night - through a dimensional crack and see what happens.
The author promises nothing but a bit of humor, confusion and all the other products of her weird mind.
The story can be read as a Reader insert, since I will not use a name. Pairings are still open, maybe it will also be a reverse harem or something. We will find that out together in the course of this story.

Something springs eternally hopeful, though you try to keep your voice light and airy against all other odds. You hope that the smile that you’ve affixed to your face is sincere rather than eagerly optimistic.

“Yeah, it is.” and it’s the lack of humor, replaced by steadfast sincerity, that makes you realize that this might be it.
