Finally, your gaze settled upon a pair of red eyes, the man belonging to them leaning over the back of the couch he was sitting on as the gaming console he was holding slowly slipped out of his hands.

A disappointment.--
Five years in a sterile, climate-controlled cell will do things to a person's priorities. It makes the past look dead, the future look abstract, and a plate of greasy diner food look like the only real thing left in the universe.
When the League of Villains pulls you out of the lab, Dabi expects a terrifying new weapon, a vengeful monster, or at least someone willing to tell him their name. Instead, he gets a deadpan ghost who actively refuses to exist on his terms, completely derails his psychological mind games, and is currently engineering the perfect bite of a grilled cheese sandwich.He thinks he's handling a fragile asset.
She just thinks he talks too much and radiates an obnoxious amount of heat.A story about absolute zero, carbohydrate dependency, and short-circuiting the criminal underworld by simply walking away when you're full.

Has some trickster god decided I was to be their new form of entertainment?
As a broke 25 year old— death was not something on my agenda, not a scheduled one at least and frankly it’s not great for the already damaged psyche.
Quirks also— are an actual fucking skill and not some little thing you can learn in a day with some effort and determination.
In addition to being dropped into a country with no citizenship, everything I do is now illegal! Fucking great.
A dream is not as great when it’s no longer a fantasy. When it’s real, visceral reality.
Oh and how lovely, the first character I meet is the villain I’ve painfully obsessed over for ten years. That’s just GREAT. SUPER CONVENIENT. Let’s see how I fumble this.
