Wei Wuxian is the head nurse in the ER. Lan Wangji is a cardiac surgeon. Their lives are simple, even if it involves poor Wen Ning having to babysit A-Yuan half the time, but they make it work, even if they both return home sometimes at 3am in the morning.
Then one day, A-Yuan comes into the ER.
