Summary
Dick turned quickly, but he moved too slow. He punched the man in the face, but he still managed to stab whatever he held into Dick’s hip, easily penetrating his armor. It pinched his skin, sinking deep into his flesh, a harsh little pinprick that burned like fire. Dick let out a pained sound behind gritted teeth. He grabbed the man by the shirt, and threw him into the metal crate. He landed with a harsh sound before sliding to the concrete, finally out.
Dick looked at his hip. Hanging out of him was a syringe, a long glass tube. The dealer wasn’t able to inject all of what was inside into him - half a mililiter of thick, glowing purple liquid sloshed with his movements. He reached down, gripped the syringe, and attempted to extract it, but he yelled out in pain as he felt the metal moving through his body. He stopped, leaned forward, gasping as he placed his hands on his knees.

Out of all the Teen Titans, Dick's by far and away the most experienced with captivity. He's not called the Boy Hostage for no reason, after all.
So it makes sense to keep their captors focused on him, when he's the one who knows how to take it. Even if the others disagree.

Summary

From across the small cabin, Jason cursed. He was still trying to light the fire, his flashlight the only thing lighting the cabin at all. There was no electricity here, at least none that Dick could see, and given that they were in the mountains fuck knows where, he wasn’t at all surprised.
Without that fire, there was no warmth or light.
Without that fire, there was no chance of Damian recovering.
Dick held him a little tighter, rocking him gently, making certain he didn’t move Damian too quickly, pressing a kiss to his too cold forehead. When Damian blinked, it was slow, his eyes barely reopening.
“No no,” Dick said. “Stay awake Bud, just a little longer.”
