Summary
Sergeant Casey Jenson is a MechWarrior in a mercenary unit called Baker Company. Baker Company has been contracted by House Marik because Capellan invaders have attacked a small planet on the border of Liao-Marik space, seeking to claim it as their own. Baker Company must bolster the planetary militia and repel the Capellans to prevent them from using the planet as a staging grounds for House Liao's expansion campaign into Free Worlds League territory.
Jenson's 'Mech is damaged in the fighting, and he is forced to bail out. Wounded, and cut off from his allies, his only safe haven is a small, reclusive anthro village many miles away. Will he die in the wilderness, or make it to the village? Will the Capellans press their advantage and crush the capital city?

Summary
The health of the ex-mercenary Marek Blakesley is in constant eclipse. Years of hunting for a cure for his ailment have led him into a beast whose jaws are rows of snowy mountains that expel a maelstrom of sheer cold that shakes the bones.
That beast goes by the name of the Frostscape — the Everfrozen Land.
Its maws are home to a myriad of animals, a legion of monsters, ancient evils yet to be unburied, and one of the last remaining aspects of the World — a Wyrm, that by a dirty turn of fate bears the cure of the aforementioned sellsword.
