A gargoyle head was perched in the centre of a mahogany doorway, it held a stone knocker in between its mouth - the only thing separating him and the man he didn't know what to refer to as. If all went right, maybe after all this he would be not his superior or a friend, but a lover. He blushed slightly at that thought process, cursing himself quietly for his delusions.
Dazai should have been far from Akutagawa's mind just then, the metallic taste of Chuuya’s hot kiss still lingering on his tongue. Yet at that moment he thought of him, not of how much he yearned for him to be back, but of how differently things turned out now that he left. He didn't know if he should thank him for it, or continue to be pissed off. But after all, Chuuya was one of a kind. And if Dazai played a part in helping him find him, perhaps he deserved at the very least some recognition.
