Summary
The thought of Nie Mingjue made him smile and brought him fully out of his peaceful state of meditation. For a fleeting moment Lan Xichen imagined the child that was no doubt running outside and causing such a ruckus. He was probably quite cute and though he might be scolded in Gusu, Lan Xichen thought his energy was rather admirable.
The sound however did not fade as he had expected. Instead it grew louder and louder until it was right outside the door to his guest quarters and Lan Xichen realized that the sound was a little too strong and much too hurried to be that of a child but was instead-
“Xichen-ge! Hide me!”
Or, During a visit to The Unclean Realm, Lan Xichen finds himself stuck between a furious Nie Mingjue and a naughty Nie Huaisang. He finds he doesn't much mind.

Summary
