“Quiet night tonight,” Zhao said, reaching out and playing idly with his glass, “Not that I mind. It's nice to not have other smaller problems giving us a headache on top of the migraine we already have going.”
“I feel that,” Kasuga took a drink, “But its only a matter of time before some sort of fresh hell breaks loose, so its simple moments like this we have to savor.”
With a small smile, Zhao shifted his head slightly to look up at him through the side of his glasses. He looked incredibly soft like that. For a moment it felt like Kasuga forgot how to breathe. There was another reason he was happy it was just two of them tonight. While Kasuga was the type to just say whatever entered his mind, he felt he couldn't say anything quite yet. He turned away focusing on his glass. Still, should he say a little something at least? Kasuga cleared his throat...
(No endgame spoilers. Takes place between Chapters 12 and 13.)

This one sat beautifully on his lap, head tilted, his hair falling over a shoulder, which was still shiny with a newish tattoo. He seemed unsure, good eye squinted, fingers resting on his bottom lip in thought.
“Kiryu-chan,” he cooed, “Teach me more about myself.”

Unfortunately, controlling everything so meticulously with Kiryu did nothing to conquer his ever increasing sexual frustration. He’d tried seeing what kind of lays members of his family—Nishida and a few others—were like, but they did nothing to scratch that itch inside him. He kept imagining Kiryu, the way his huge hands would roughly run up and down his back as they held each other close, the way his chapped lips would press gently against his before their kiss turned needier, or the way Kiryu would leave marks across his body, marking Majima as his. It really made sex with anyone else a letdown.

Kiryu wasn’t jealous. He wanted Nishiki to be happy. He would never admit that the reason he was drinking more heavily was that he saw his bro’s arm wrapped around the bare shoulder of a gorgeous woman. He ordered a refill and watched out of the corner of his eye as Nishiki’s hair acted like a curtain when he leaned forward and whispered in the woman’s ear. It’s fine if it makes him happy. Another drink. I wouldn’t be able to make him happy like her. The bartender looked worried but serves him again anyway. I wonder what he looks like when… He’s knocked out of his own thoughts when a woman slides next to him and smiles. He shrugged at her questions, ignoring her flirtations. The world’s blurry around him when he feels Nishiki touch his shoulder.
