Working in a small bookstore, living out of a suitcase on her supervisor's couch, and separated from her only supportive family member, Weiss Schnee struggled to meet expectations of where she should have been in life in her early twenties. Yang Xiao Long lived in a small house on her parents' property, worked in the family restaurant, and hung out with friends without much direction in her life. Life for both of them could be worse, but maybe... Just maybe... It doesn't turn out that way.
