Summary
Inspired by 'Temporary Temple Guards' - must read to have context for this fanfic.
Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi is left without backup, without guidance, and without a home to return to after the Jedi Temple falls. With a gaggle of children now relying upon him to protect their future as the Sith Empire rises, he must grapple with his complicated history and return to Mandalore. He is more than aware that as a Jedi, many Mandalorians would be happy to kill him without mercy, the only comfort is his familiarity with their culture, that even if they kill him, at least they will protect the children, and that ultimately has to be enough.

Summary
So, I guess I'm doing this now.
Work 1 "Only Warmth in the Galaxy" was my attempt at getting this out of my system. The second work, "The Keys to the Kingdom Were Locked Inside the Kingdom" is the long-form attempt at creating a happy ending using the broad-strokes of the first work. You don't need to read the first to appreciate the second, but they were so closely linked that I felt they should be tied in a series. Work 1 is the bad ending, as far as Work 2 could be said to have a good ending...

Summary
“Perhaps the seeds of madness are sown in the womb.”
Not for Aerion, no. Nor for Egg. But Daeron had always known. Since he was small, he saw the tapestries upon the walls burn above his cradle, and he knew. Drink or delirium, it did not matter. One way or another, his visions would be the death of him.
He had not reckoned he would have to suffer more than one.
The gods want something from Daeron. They must, to have devised so exceptional a hell. For why else would they have him live these days over and over?
If they have chosen Daeron to change the future, they have chosen the wrong man. Daeron is not a hero. He never has been.

Summary
Prince Baelor Targaryen died on the fields of Ashford Meadow with Duncan the Tall calling his name.
Then he opened his eyes again.
Reborn as the son of Prince Aemon Targaryen generations before his own birth, Baelor finds himself in an age of dragons, legends, and a family not yet broken by its own ambitions.
He remembers what awaits them.
The Great Council.
The Dance of the Dragons.
The death of dragons.
The slow decline of House Targaryen.
Determined to change the future, Baelor must navigate court politics, shifting successions, dangerous dragons, and the impossible task of saving people doomed by history.
But changing the future is far more difficult than remembering it.
And some fires refuse to be extinguished.

Summary
Lucerys did not believe in… in superstitions. Or in miracles. Ghosts. All silly, fanciful things, to his mind. Things that did not become a prince to believe in.
And yet, as the specter Jace had warned him about stood before him, Lucerys could not deny that the man, the alpha, was… real. Though he looked out of this world, with his shining hair-of-moonlight that ran down nearly to his waist, and the eye… the shining, lavender gleam of it in the man's hard, pale face. The other eye was obscured by an eyepatch, but that sight only made a shiver run up Luke's spine.
And when the man surged forward, Luke could not move. Could not fight fate.Bookmarked by Jiorin
