My take on a Reverse Omens fic, where angel and demon switch places. Each chapter is an interweaving of two stories — a progressing modern storyline, and a relevant anecdote from their past (much like the minisodes in s2).

In this moment he belongs not to the God who had formed him nor the Devil who had dragged him, screaming, over the edge; his body and his heart and his very soul are in the hands of an angel, but he doesn’t even feel like an angel…and Azazel doesn’t feel like a demon. They are simply Together, in a way that none of their kind ever have been before.
It doesn’t take long for the Seraph Baraqiel and Azazel the Scapegoat to discover their wonderful rapport. But when an angel and a demon fall in love, they leave a trail of heartbreak across history.
(I’d say that this one rides the line between the M and E ratings, but only occasionally. I’ve gone with E just to err on the side of caution.)
