    For years Katsuki Bakugou has been Izuku Midoriya's bully, and just about everyone knew it. Except that wasn't actually the case at all. Through a secret language they were able to fool the world into thinking that they weren't actually best friends. So when midway through their first year at UA when they were given an assignment that required secretive communication, they knew that they were guaranteed an A. However, they weren't prepared for the chaos that it would bring or the relationship that would result from it.

    When Katsuki forgets his beloved pillow at the dorms, which he uses to aid in easing the nightmares, he must find another way to get a full night of sleep and avoid fucking up his grade.

     

    Lucky for him, Izuku is always willing to help.

    Before Deku is able to apply to UA, villains attack the city. The sludge Villain almost gets Katsuki, and Izuku is traumatized by the heroes who were going to let him die. When a building explodes off into the distance he tries to hurry, but it was too late. No one found his body, so he and his mother are pronounced dead.

    His death traumatizes and haunts Katsuki as he wishes he could turn back time and tell him his feelings, instead he lives on in his memory not knowing that his stupid Deku is alive and well. Izuku is found by All For One and his hatred for hero society, after the heroes that let his mother die are praised and worshipped, is stoked and nurtured. This story gets so much worse before it gets better.
