Mikumo Midoriya was 4 when Izuku was created.
It only took a couple more years of abuse, discrimination, and arson for Izuku Shimura to enter U.A. ready to become a hero.
And no, he /totally/ has nothing to do with the problem child counter Aizawa has running in the back round. Why do you ask?
Or: What if Mikumo had a clone?
(OR: a combo of a bunch of ideas I had just shoved into a pile only for it to be sparked by the simple question "but what if there were two?" and now we have this nice little blazing fire)

Summary
Midoriya Izuku is born with eyes that see past what normal people can.
He can see spirits.
At first, no one believes him, but he manages to show his friends for a few moments before passing out and being rushed to the hospital for quirk overuse.
Now, he's an outcast at school, the demon boy who talks to spirits and is friends with demons. It seems like only he can see them, interact with them, and help them, but Izuku wants nothing more than to be a hero, and he's going to do whatever it takes to get there.

Summary
Two things no one ever really talks about are that some quirks have specific requirements to be manifested, and that quirked people often have an extra toe joint too, and how it is an inconclusive and outdated way of determining who will or won't manifest a quirk.
Izuku Midoriya, at the age of fourteen, after a month of being sexually assaulted by his home room teacher, and getting his dreams crushed by the Number One Hero, finds out what requirement he needs to meet so he can manifest his quirk. Did this end up with him being declared dead after only one week? Perhaps. But it does help lead him to two loving dads! And for some reason... He can see the dead now?

Midoriya does have a good relationship with his father, but his father is almost always away for work. However, his father is part fire dragon, and he loves to cuddle his son no matter where they are at and will always protect his son.
