    Seven years ago, Adora was promoted to Force Captain. Since then she has only climbed higher in the Horde’s ranks, quickly becoming a General feared across Etheria. Once Shadow Weaver’s ploy to control her was uncovered and the sorceress banished from the Horde, nothing has been able to stop General Adora’s rise, Force Captain Catra always by her side.

    But the Rebellion hatches a new plan, inspired by a new ally. Their situation is dire. They need a hero of legend. And if that hero does not fight for them willingly, then perhaps making use of some vicious, ancient technology is what needs to be done.

    All is fair in love and war, and Queen Glimmer intends to do whatever it takes to win.

    “No Azula.” She said as she balled her hands into fists. “Something worse than that.”
    “Worse than fear?” Azula scoffed as she pressed her forehead to Ty Lee’s. “Nothing is worse than fear.” The orderlies started to hurry over.
    “There is.” Ty Lee whispered as she refused to back down. “I love you.” Azula froze and blinked at this incomprehensible answer.

    Nearly growling, Adora shot her hand out to grip the back of Catras neck as she surged forward.
    The kiss was molten and all but stole every ounce of air in Catras lungs.
    Adora stepped away as her own name was announced and the iron bars began to lower, “Because I fucking love you and someone nearly took you from me.”

    SLOWLY BEING REWRITTEN - 28/07 - Story stays the same, just the writing will be better lol

    Catra is just trying to survive, raising her kitten in a rundown apartment with a job that pays little to nothing. When social services come knocking, everything threatens to fall apart and her kitten could be taken away. But then she runs into Adora, the kid she grew up in the system with, the kid that also once was her everything, who has now grown into a broad shouldered, muscular butch woman, with the same ridiculous hairdo. Adora offers her a home, and Catra finds herself in unfamiliar territory. She has safety, stability and the terrifying possibility of hope. As the investigation unfold, and past wounds resurface, the lines between Adora's saviour complex and possibly something deeper, seems to blur.

    Adora bumps into Catra seven years after she left her, what she doesn’t expect is Catra to have a kitten and need some help.

    Catra gets attacked by an angry civilian while they’re restoring Salineas. She’s put in charge of Bright Moon’s military to avoid any more mishaps, while the rest of the Best Friend Squad travels around Etheria to fix its kingdoms. Though initially hesitant to part with her girlfriend, Adora decides that Catra’s safety is more important. They have all the time in the world to be together anyway. Or so she thinks.

    Alternatively: Catra breaks up with Adora a few weeks into their relationship. They remain friends, and Adora nearly falls apart, except... she can’t shake this feeling that Catra still wants her. Still loves her too. So why did Catra call it quits?

    Alternatively, Alternatively: Growth is a journey. Catra and Adora still have lots to learn, about themselves and each other. (post s5)
