He’s smiling with too many teeth, a shark smelling blood in the water. Shane turns away to grab another random piece of clothing he should’ve gotten ridden of years ago along with that magazine.
“Mm. Da. We have them.” Ilya nods, shrugs. “Okay. Just a magazine of naked people hidden in your closet. No big deal.”

“Shane?” Ilya asks again. “What happened?” His gloveless hand twitches and he lifts it a fraction of an inch towards Shane.
Shane tosses his own gloves to the ice and reaches forward, lacing their fingers together. “You took a bad hit,” he says, gritting his teeth against the fear clawing at his guts. “Flipped headfirst into the ice. Are you okay?”
Ilya groans in answer and squeezes his hand, though Shane can't tell if he meant to do that or not.
Suddenly, there are people all around them. Shane shifts protectively close before he realizes it’s the medical team.
“Hollander, get back to your bench,” someone says, but there’s no way Shane’s going. Even if he wanted to, Ilya’s gripping his hand like a lifeline, eyes finally locked on Shane’s face. Shane isn’t leaving him.

Possibly he's punished for getting an erection, waking up with sticky sheets, maybe even when someone senses he's aroused (smell, touch telepathy, whatever).
"So basically, Spock knows next to nothing about sex (except that it's Bad with a capital B) and is deeply ashamed of his desires. Cue some h/c in the form of K/S, yes? Yes."
The kinkmeme was 2009-Trek inspired, the prompt did not specify a canon. This fic is TOS canon, with TOS characterizations and episode references.

The Winter Soldier thrashed, drowning. It was taking forever. His mask seemed to be stuck. He pulled on it, struggling to draw breath, sinking and resurfacing, clawing at his face, the panic in his eyes terrible.
Steve's would-be killer. The very worst HYDRA had ever conjured. A symbol of death and everything he stood against. And Steve just couldn't bear it. He was ready to go, but this guy clearly wasn't.

The premise: the Winter Soldier's mask doesn't come off quite as easily. Meaning, Steve never saw Bucky's face, and he didn't hold back during the fight on the Helicarrier. This is where the story picks up and is no longer canon-compliant. Though, I've stolen some ideas from the sequels and deliberately contradicted some future plot points/established canon.COMPLETED
