Summary
As the legend goes, if the ravens should ever leave, the Tower will crumble into dust, and great harm will befall the kingdom.
Credible threats have been made against the nation’s antiquities - iconic relics stolen, sites vandalised… at the Tower of London, a raven has been killed.
George Cowley sends his top agents, Bodie and Murphy, undercover to work as part of the Guard Extraordinary, the special defence force which protects the Tower of London. Their assignment: protect the ravens.
Ray Doyle had been on track for a successful career in the Met, but the death of his partner, plus his own role in dismantling a cadre of corrupt officers, left him feeling isolated and disillusioned. Recruited by the Guard Extraordinary, he’s now RavenMaster, charged with the care and safety of the Tower’s fabled birds.
From their first meeting Bodie and Doyle are at odds. As the threat deepens, Bodie must deal with his growing attraction to the enigmatic RavenMaster. For his part, Doyle resents what he sees as overprotectiveness.
Late one evening, the ravens and Doyle disappear. Now, Bodie must embark on a desperate search to find them and return them to the Tower … before the legend is fulfilled … -

For the purposes of this piece of fiction, imagine that there is no stigma associated with anyone's declared sex or sexuality and that marriage is common between two people in love, or well, for any sort of reason. *bg*
Very (very!) loosely based on the film, The Decoy Bride, which has the ultra-adorable David Tennant in the lead. It's quite the romp so I highly suggest it. It has a haunted toilet with cow noises. *snirk*

Summary
These are some adventures of the Enterprise crew from the Star Trek: Alternate Original Series universe, beginning at the start of their Five Year Mission. Kirk/McCoy focus.
While these stories deal with the progression of the relationship between James Tiberius Kirk and Leonard Horatio ("Only Jim has a worse middle name than I do.") McCoy, they're also about the adventures they, and the rest of the crew, have out in the black.
Some of the stories are based on episodes from the Original Series, but they go *weird* directions. So, hopefully, they'll tell their own stories and not bore fans of the Original.
