“It’s never entirely anyone’s fault,” Jane says. Her hand covers Kate’s and Kate blinks over at her. She never understood the meaning of two sides of the same coin but it feels fitting now. Jane is the one who was betrayed and Kate is the one who lied and misled, but there’s a current of understanding, like they can use each other to understand what happened.

Kate's struggling, Lucy can see it. The break up has been hard on the both of them. Kate's been struggling more than usual and it's not just Lucy that's concerned anymore. Although Kate hurt her, she still cares about her and that has her going to find out what's wrong.
Turns out it's Kate's birthday but she doesn't see it as a happy event. Lucy tries to be there for her and in the process, learns more about the blonde DIA agent. Maybe they can figure things out between them at the same time...
