Summary
While out running errands around Crestwood with Solas, Dorian, and the Iron Bull; Inquisitor Lavellan is hit by an unexpected truth spell that suddenly has her spilling her guts any time someone asks a question. This would be less of a problem if she wasn't the polite, diplomatic leader of an ever-growing organization, who now can't hold anything back. Or if she wasn't trying to stay subtle about the muddle of her emotions about one of her companions in particular.
Going through my old WIPs and found this almost fully completed, but I never posted it I guess. Dusting it off now to clear out my in-progress folder a bit before Veilguard comes out. This won't be very long, maybe 4-5 chapters, and more on the silly/fun side.

They both finally get what they want:
Lavellan manages to stop Solas, without killing him.
He gets to know she will live forever without fading away, as the elves were meant to.
They are together, and it is the worst possible thing that could happen to either of them, and now they will have to live with it forever.There are no Veilguard spoilers in this beyond "Solas is there", as I haven't even watched all the promo material for the game's release myself. I have instead imagined my own scenario where Lavellan is a part of the final battle to try to stop Solas as he finally goes to tear down the Veil (for real this time. again). Based on what we know of Veilguard this situation is already not going to be canon in any shape, but I wanted to get this piece out of my system before we’re locked into a new plot framework I feel the need to work within.
I asked myself: what is the absolute worst case ending that could happen for Lavellan and Solas? And this is what I came up with.

After Solas wakes up, he has many conversations with a variety of spirits. Sometimes they tell him what he wants to hear, and sometimes they don't.
I wrote this piece for the Solamancy charity zine last fall, and am happy to share it with you here now :) The formatting is a little less hard to read in a narrower browser window, as I designed it for booklet page proportions. On phone screen it will be kind of fucked up even in horizontal mode so sorry bout that and good luck!

Summary
Hawke was left in the Fade to defeat Nightmare’s spider demon--but survives. She must fight her way back through the Veil to the physical world, but the experience has affected her greatly both physically and mentally. Haunted by what happened, she must learn to cope with everything she has faced, and the effects she still suffers. Fenris (her LI) comes to Skyhold to help, and other Inquisition members do their best as well.
Lots of angst for now, but eventual happy (or at least, happier) ending.
Full prompt in the beginning note. I live for angst and I am here to deliver. Updates sort of sporadic at the moment since I'm very busy with work; but this very much still going.

I've decided to go against fandom tradition and use First Day/Wintermarch as a more New-Years-y holiday, based on when the winter holiday takes place in the Dragon Age calendar. I'm very late posting this since the holidays have been over for a While, whoops!

This was posted on the dragon age kink meme in response to the prompt: I don't know if this counts as a kink meme prompt, but I'd love to see Orana's thoughts about events in game from the meeting of Hawke to endgame.
It is essentially the same fic, just cleaned up a bit for typos, missed words and the occasional minor rephrasing (to avoid repeated words, imagery, etc).

I broke down El'vhen into component parts and replaced the elided apostrophes. This is still fan fic, because despite having a linguistics minor, I could be very wrong. But if I'm not too far off, it should give us the tools to make new words.
It's mostly all translated from canon sources, Katiebour's Cypher, and the wiki.
