Summary
After expending all of its power to reset Teyvat, the entity known as Celestia has all but vanished, yet its desire to dominate over humanity has never faded. To this end, a fragment of Celestia's original power has gained a following, creating the Celestiae Conventus who will stop at nothing to fulfill Celestia's final wish.
Yet despite Celestia's best efforts, it could not fully destroy its equal and opposite, the Abyss. While weakened, the Abyss still possesses just enough power to oppose Celestia not for humanity, but to take back what was rightfully Hers. To this end, She will share her stories and find Herself a Vessel in preparation for the final battle.
In this world, no Visions are given or received, but it seems that there are a handful of people manifesting superpowers referred to as Gifts. The occurrence of these Gifts seems random, with the general opinion that people who manifest Gifts were once Vision holders before the Cataclysm, a disaster that destroyed the world thousands of years ago, but those in the Hexenzirkel beg to differ.
This may be a new world, but its past still haunts it. It will be up to humanity to finally break free of this cursed cycle and take what is rightfully theirs.

Summary
Illuga never learns from his mistakes.
He turns his back in fear. He runs away like a coward. And every time, whoever he leaves behind ends up dead. Which means that when Illuga evacuates Nod Krai and leaves Flins to face the Doctor without him by his side, he must have surely sentenced him to his death, just like all the others Illuga left behind before.
It is only in the wake of that realization, as he deals with his grief, that Illuga finally allows himself his feelings for the other man.

Summary
"The doctors are off with another patrol today," Illuga says with a sigh. "I'm going to try and treat this myself until they get back."
"Young master, I—"
"No. This isn't negotiable," Illuga says firmly, and all thoughts Flins had of objecting further are completely wiped alongside a fluttering in his stomach. Illuga casually begins to douse the wound in antiseptics as if he didn't just awaken something feral inside Flins. "I'll carry you back to Piramida once I wrap this. You'll stay in my home until you're cleared to return to work."
Oh dear, Flins thinks to himself, I could get used to this...
tldr: Illuga treats Flins's injury, and Flins ends up discovering a new kink in the process. Also Illuga demands to know what exactly Flins is and will find out any way possible.

“Huh? W- where are we going?” Illuga asks, voice rough and scratchy as he looks back at Flins.
“The starshyna sent me to retrieve you and take you home,” Flins replies. “You are not to return until your sickness passes and I assume you would not want to infect the rest of your squad, would you?”
“I’m fine,” Illuga says. He’s definitely not fine but he will not admit that even though it’s clearly obvious.
Flins takes a look at him. “You look as if you are to become one of the phantoms that wander my graveyard.”
Surly Illuga cannot look that bad.
“Please get dressed for the trip and we will be on our way,” Flins says, not giving Illuga the option to back out. “But if you need help, I’d be glad to offer a hand-.”
Illuga shuts the door in Flins’ face.
“Five minutes, no less, Master Illuga,” Flins’ voice drifts from the other side of the door and Illuga does not hear footsteps which means he is still on the other side.

Illuga is burning. His insides feel like they are on fire. He jolts awake and notices that it is dark in the room except for the sliver of moonlight that filters through the window and the glow from Flins’ lantern that hangs on a hook close to the bed.
Apparently, his body couldn’t wait and now his heat has arrived earlier than expected.
Illuga spends his heat with Flins and they fully give themselves to each other.
