Zoey opened her eyes to a familiar face. Mira was in front of her, snoring softly, one arm draped loosely around her waist. She smiled, already sinking back into the warmth of sleep. But as she shifted slightly, she became very aware of another body pressed against her back.
She sat up quickly, freaking out. Rumi was there too. Panic prickled at the edge of her thoughts as fragments from the night before slammed into her. The taste of alcohol and bile rose up her throat. She kissed Rumi, Mira also kissed Rumi. And everything’s fine, she reasoned. They’re laying down together in their bed the next morning, and they all kissed, and it’s fine.
Zoey threw up in the bathroom.

I am actually no longer willing to carry the baby you have been so desperately trying for because I think it would be a really super-duper bad idea! Sorry for getting your hopes up!
