She and her mother need Kris’ help to return her to the way she was and thwart the Angel’s Prophecy in the process. They don’t hesitate to agree, but in order to help, they need to prepare. They need to become stronger.
These are some of the nights they spend with Dess trying to do just that. At the same time, they do their best to return some semblance of normalcy to her life.
This along with trying to keep their feelings for her, still smoldering after so many years, under wraps.
They are successful at two of those three things.

Summary
When Kris was a child, they find a lone power strip from the library and take it back to their home. Right after that, their life takes a turn for the worst.
Having suffered through multiple losses without a way to properly grieve, their memories have become fuzzy and blurred, they have forgotten all their childhood memories and possessions. Worst of all, they haven't felt like their true self since the day their life changed forever.
Now at sixteen years old, Kris finds themself in the Dark World that they created, and as their memories start to resurface in their mind, they stumble upon a Darkner with a name that they swear sounds so familiar but they don't remember why.
Yet the Darkner greets them as if he's known them all their life: "Long time no see, eh luv?"

Summary
Kris desires to be close with Ramb, it makes them go insane, so it makes sense that when they have an opportunity to do so, they are going to take complete advantage of it.
They open the door with a creak, the noise gives them chills, the door feels old but in a way that makes them feel nostalgic. It makes them feel excited and full of adrenaline.
Immediately, Ramb looks up to the creaking door, having been cleaning a few drinking glasses and putting them on the shelves. He looks at them with a shocked expression, but ultimately gives a warm and welcoming smile and a laugh that Kris cannot properly decipher.
“Oh, Kris, luv.” He greets Kris with a wave, “You’ve come to see me, eh?”
Kris has an absolute infatuation with Ramb and wants to act upon it, so when they have that chance, they take it.
The result doesn't go fully how they wished, but they are not complaining, not in the slightest.
