Summary
A canon divergence where Wei Wuxian didn’t die and instead closed the Burial Mounds to outsiders with a barrier. Lan Wangji was still punished with 33 lashes but disappeared soon after. Now, 13 years later, Nie Mingjue invites the Yiling Wei sect to the Discussion Conference and when they arrive the other Sects are surprised to see Lan Wangji standing beside Wei Wuxian and wearing the black and red robes of the Yiling Wei Sect, instead of his white Lan robes, his Lan forehead ribbon nowhere to be seen. Deku blinked, “huh?” but just as the teens' hands met Deku felt his stomach drop and the world began to spin. Instinctively he held tighter to the hand in his but everything was too much all of a sudden. The sound of blood in his ears drowning out any words and even the scream that escapes the hero. His body feels like it’s falling. The world is a total blur of colors. It feels like goes on forever, but it could have only been moments. By the time the world rights itself and the boy can think he notices he’s no longer surrounded by rubble. Blinking a bit he quickly took in the rooftop he now stood on with a quickly shrinking All Might.

"Your aversion to bourbon is unsurprising." Dooku didn't quite turn his back to Obi-Wan but didn't hold a position that gave him an advantage as he grabbed a bottle. "Perhaps a cider would be more to your liking. I do remember you being fond of 'juice' as a youngling."

"Of course I stock up on a variety. I have manners."
"No, not that." Obi-Wan frowned at him, and Dooku lamented the grey hairs and wrinkles on someone still so young. Though he must admit he probably looks adequate given that Skywalker is his padawan. "You never knew me as a youngling. We first met in Genosis."
"We were well acquainted before I left the Order," Dooku started. "You used to hide under my cloak and sit at my feet during council meetings."
"You really expect me to believe that you'd let younglings hide under your cloak and that the council allowed toddlers at their meetings?"
Or the one where Obi-Wan does not remember back when he used to seek out Dooku as a toddler. He thinks Dooku's age is getting to him.
