He'd been couch surfing from old friends houses for months, trying to find a warm place to stay for the winter. Eventually, when all else fails, he turned to the streets and starts to live in an alleyway once more.

Ruv and Sarvente are kicked out of the church when they find out about Sarv being a demon. After a heated argument and with nowhere to stay, Ruv goes out to fend for himself once again like he did in his past. He stumbles across a robot man who takes him in, introducing him to his bomb-headed roommate Whitty. They don't get along well, fighting over everything, until Ruv finds out about just what is haunting Whitty and is thrown into a journey full of new people and danger.
They may both be bad at feelings and they may have both gone through a lot, but maybe protecting each other isn't so bad.

After a horribly messy breakup, Whitty's ex donates all his clothes to charity. All he wants is his jacket back, and if that means checking every church and charity center in the city, then he's going to trudge through the rain to find it.
Ruv, on the other hand, doesn't trust this random talking explosive standing on the church steps. He shouldn't let him in, but hell, it's raining, and this guy looked like he had a really bad day.

You're enjoying the peace of an empty house, no longer having to share it with those you don't know when a familiar, pale face shows up after being gone for months.

So I read online that Russians celebrate the New Year more like Christmas, and that Christmas is a more religious holiday. So I made this more about New Year instead (It's also good because I knew I wouldn't finish this in time for Crimbo lol)
