It's been nine days since Merlin saved Camelot and the ban on magic was lifted. It's been little over a week and Merlin already needs Arthur to get him out of trouble. But the trouble is nothing like Arthur expected.

Summary
Alice and Jasper have only been with the Cullens for two weeks when Emmett decides to try and scare Edward but ends up scaring Jasper instead. Jasper, who doesn't yet trust the Cullens, reacts instinctively and bites Emmett. Carlisle arrives home to chaos. Can Carlisle use this as an opportunity to show Jasper that they mean him no harm?

“Waitin’ for my punishment, sir.” Jasper did not lift his head.
Carlisle fumbled for something to say before finally settling on, “That’s not necessary. I’m not going to hurt you.”
Jasper did look up now and the confusion on his face made Carlisle’s long-dead heart want to break.

Carlisle sighed sadly. “We’re not a coven, Jasper. At least, not like you’re used to. We’re a family... Punishments here are never, ever physical.”
Jasper’s past had certainly left more than just physical scars and it would take a lot of time and a lot of love to help him heal, but Carlisle was confident that his family was up for the challenge. -

Details fell together rapidly- the black and white streaked hair, mostly stained with what Julian hoped was dirt, ripped clothes and some of what he had to admit was blood, the forearm tattoo of a halo... He drew a knife instinctively as the man raised his head and Julian found himself staring down into the pained, half-desperate eyes of Eclipse.
“I’m- I didn’t have any other option. Please.” A full body shudder passed through Eclipse as he reached out a hand. Blood was flowing freely from a gash above his eye, and the remnants of his shirt seemed to cover a dozen wounds more.
Julian dropped the knife to the floor, forgotten. Oh fuck.
Julian knows that when you get the chance to take out a villain of Eclipse's rank, you take it, honor be damned. So when Eclipse shows up at Julian's door looking more than mostly already dead, it isn't hard to know he should finish the job and call it a win. But Julian doesn't, and now neither of them really know what happens next

Kazz did his best to try and limit how much time the kid spent around grumpy or unthinking troopers, but there wasn’t a lot he could do to stop General Mundi from coming each day to try another set of language packets. The kid did seem to appreciate they were attempting to find his native tongue, but-
He’d been standing, perfectly fine, in front of a bunch of droids that suddenly seemed to be following his orders rather than their programmed directives, and between two blinks found General Mundi’s lightsaber at his throat. There’d been an immediate yelp, and some flailing, and a lot of jumbled words no one else could understand. General Mundi responded by pinning the kid in place with the Force, and plucking a half-built device out of his gloved hands.
(Thrift down in Engineering told Kazz later that it was a transmitter, thrown together in a manner that made no damn sense, with components clearly borrowed from other sources and held in place with adhesive strips, but somehow it managed to make all droids in a quarter-mile radius stop shooting and start obeying the commands of a chubby teenager who’d shown up out of nowhere.)
