Summary
Nine years after the war, Lucius Malfoy is a ghost draped in fine robes, recently released from Azkaban to the ruins of his life: an empty ancestral home, a wand that resists him, and no one left to call family. He expects only to fade into obscurity.
Until a Thursday morning brings a sight he cannot forget.
Two children. Malfoy hair. Malfoy eyes. Malfoy poise.
And with them — Hermione Granger. No longer the Golden Girl, but a celebrated scientist… and unmistakably a mother. Her return to Britain stirs old grudges, older secrets, and something far more dangerous: a pull neither of them expected. Between them lies a truth that could shatter everything Lucius thought he knew about blood, legacy, and the possibility of love.

Summary
Over a decade has passed since the Battle of Hogwarts and the end of the Second Wizarding War. Now, Deputy Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Hermione Granger, is approaching her thirties and is severely overwhelmed.
A known Death Eater has mysteriously escaped Azkaban, and a series of possibly related attacks on Muggleborns are happening right under her nose. With mounting pressure to slash departmental budgets and her decade-long relationship more unstable than ever, Hermione is stretched to her limits.
With the cracks already starting to show, it only takes one dismissive remark for her to impulsively sign up for a charity duelling competition hosted at Hogwarts, however, long gone are the days of Dumbledore's Army and regular reasons to perform defensive magic.
Unfit, unwed and deeply unsatisfied with her life, Hermione is barely keeping it together.. until an unlikely taste of freedom helps her reclaim her confidence, but at what cost?

Summary
Post-war adulthood is a scam. Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley are married, and it’s… not great. The kind of unhappy that sneaks up on you.
Meanwhile, Hermione’s closest people are somehow Draco and his wife Astoria. Yes, really. They’re sharp, supportive, and a little too good at calling her out. Lines blur. Boundaries get fuzzy.
Then comes one night that absolutely should not have happened. No planning. No excuses. Just fire-whisky and impulse. And the worst possible fallout—Hermione is pregnant, and the father is Lucius Malfoy.
After that? Everything cracks. Marriages strain. Friendships get tested. Old power dynamics crawl back into the light. Hermione is forced to make choices that don’t come with easy answers.
This is messy chaos with long conversations, bad decisions, and consequences that refuse to stay quiet. Slow burn. Long fic. And yes... later chapters will be explicit.
Plot’s still evolving, so the description will probably shift as I write, but this is the little plot bunny I’m chasing for now. :)

A time-travel fix-it/comedy of errors.
