Excerpt : Fae and Fairies are different. Fae is an ancient term for elven kind. A fairy is a magically being, like elves, but were originally exceedingly small. As time passed, the fairy kind grew. They were still smaller than the dwarrow and to blend in with the Hobbit kind, they hid their tails and found a way to collapse their wings into their skin. In this form, it merely looks like a painted tattoo.
Let it be known, it was rare that the Wizard could be fooled, tricked or surprised. This time it happened to be all three.

But Marinette wasn’t organized or tidy and she certainly wasn’t presentable. She was a failure and, though she knew she’d never get better if she didn’t keep up with the work he’d put into her, one more strike of his hand felt like it could lead her to somewhere dark. Somewhere dangerous. Somewhere she wouldn’t ever recover from. And so she fled.

And by some stroke of luck, he was accepted by one Charlotte “Charlie” Magne, an eccentric heiress of a wealthy business, who was looking for a housemate to occupy the rooms of her quite spacious domicile on the Georgia coast.
Little did he expect that the woman would live in a mansion in the woods, with enough acreage that his activities would go completely unnoticed. And he expected even less that the little heiress would be more of a kindred soul to him.

Alastor, the demon soul of a cannibalistic serial killer, makes a deal with a human called Rosie; help her create and run a successful nightclub called The Thorny Rose Lounge in honor of her late daughter and in return, she will provide Alastor access to Earth to continue hunting and consuming humans.
Charlie Magne is a young woman with a dream of becoming a lounge singer and is hired at Rosie’s club where she quickly catches the attention of Alastor, who becomes inexplicably drawn to the golden-haired beauty and she to him.
Vincent Whittman, CEO of VoxTech Studios and a frequent patron to the club also finds himself attracted to Charlie on top of his already established fixation on Alastor. Seeing the mutual attraction between the two, he becomes obsessed with the idea of having both of them to own and control.
The three find themselves in a dangerous triangle of love, lust, and obsession, with Charlie at the center of it all and with the most to lose.
