In the dark of a cold winter night in Soho, there is a bookshop with a demon inside. The wind is blowing and rain is crying down. Is it heaven? Or perhaps just the freak of creation. No, it doesn’t really matter.

Until Hugh is invited to the planet Allevan to make a case for possible ex-Borg settlement. Only instead of the usual lectures and conferences, the people of Allevan prefer to discuss their political matters over extravagant food, drink, and dance, and their guests are expected to dress accordingly. Fortunately, an old friend of Hugh's is there to offer his expertise and ensure Hugh gets the attention he needs to succeed.
Unfortunately, Elnor has severely underestimated just how much more tempting Hugh can be in certain clothes.
