Summary

Summary
Maybe it wouldn’t be such a problem, he thinks, if he could just tell Lance the truth. Maybe, he thinks, then Lance would understand. And he wouldn’t get so pissed at him for almost accidentally killing himself once a week. Maybe it would be easier, if he could just be a little more honest with them both.
But the thing is, it’s not easy. If things were easy, Keith wouldn’t be out on the training deck every night until he’s so exhausted that he can’t see straight—until he reaches that point of fading out of focus just long enough for the gladiator to sweep his legs out from under him. Summary
Keith has a lot of practice being alone; you might almost say he's good at it. When he finds himself seriously injured and stranded on an unknown planet, he knows he's not alone there. And here's the worst part: even after rescue and after things return to normal, Keith gets the distinct sense that whatever was on that planet has followed him. He doesn't have proof. The Galra was suddenly leaning down – his yellow eyes only inches away from Lance’s. His words, a whisper in Lance’s ear: A threat; a promise. “Oh, I am not going to touch him. He is the half-breed son of the woman who murdered my sister. He is the leader of Voltron. No, I am not going to touch him…I am going to break him.”
Or: Two years after season 8, a Blade mission goes wrong, and Keith is perceived to be dead. Lance refuses to believe that, and goes in search of him. What he finds, however, is worse than anything he imagined.
