He was in the middle of this exact task, slowly approaching the end of his shift, when the door opened abruptly, signalling the arrival of a patron. He clutched the book to his chest and peered out of the aisle, already wearing an inviting smile on his face. “Welcome! Good afternoon!” he chirped cheerfully, approaching the desk, and promptly froze, leaning slightly forward with one foot in the air, his eyes wide open and his eyebrows riding up his forehead. His heart skipped a beat and his body instantly filled with mysterious warmth. Laios quietly closed the door behind him and turned towards Kabru, fixing the hood of his jacket with one hand. He kept the other one behind his back, most definitely trying to hide something. His face was visibly flushed. Putting his hand over his mouth, Kabru set the book down on the desk, without tearing his gaze away from Laios’ face even for a moment. “Oh, it's you,” he murmured shakily, lips curling into a smile.

It was indeed one of his own. He didn't remember this one in particular – he had drawn so many things that it would've been impossible to remember them all even if he wanted to – but he recognised his own art style. This was his art, and it really had been put on display in the aquarium, just like Holm told him it would be. Laios covered his mouth with his hand and leaned closer. His eyes twinkled as he feverishly studied the sketch. It really was his own art, huh? Usually, seeing his own art didn't give him any particularly strong feelings, but for some reason, it felt completely different seeing it like this. Right here, protected by a sheet of glass so that nobody could damage or steal it. Huh. That was pretty cool, right? Right? Laios put his hand up to his heart, which swelled with strange joy.
“Admiring your work, huh?” a voice came from behind him. “I can't blame you, it's really good.”

Sua felt the blood wet her fingertips as she touched the area of impact. She smiled, unaware that she could still bleed.
“It doesn’t hurt,” Sua responded truthfully. She brought her blood stained fingers up to Mizi’s mouth and pressed them against her tongue. Mizi’s jaw twitched, before her lips closed around the fingers, sucking dutifully. As she pulled her fingers away, the tiniest trail of saliva connected the tip of her finger to pretty plump lips.
“How was your day?”
As Zombie Idols, it's important that they keep their bodies well-rested, clean, and not looking like a corpse. So even if they don't need to sleep, shower, or take care of their skin, they do it all anyways. Mizi's got plenty of needs to fulfill. Thankfully, Sua's always there to help.
