“Theseus,” the man said again, tilting his head ever so slightly to the side. Tommy could just barely make out the tips of his long pink hair, the corner of his chin, and the imperial insignia of the Antarctic Empire on his shirt pocket. It was familiar, something that the back of his mind recognized from months in the nest, wrapped up in gentle arms and drowned in comfort until his eyes fell shut. Distantly seeing the swirls of pink strands and collared shirts embroidered all with the same mark of royalty.

He had one rule of not allowing himself to get attached to people but he would have never guessed that a foster family of the creator of Minecraft, an anime stan and a Soundcloud musician would break that rule.
