    Danny just wants to be left alone in his little city so he can protect it. He doesn't need to be around the twin brother who never talked to him except to belittle him when they were younger... and he definitely doesn't need to be followed by the furry brigade.

    "What does that mean for us?" Tim hisses over the beginnings of a dozen voices rising in chant.

    "Nothing good." Jason states grimly, frantically racking his brain for any way out. Whatever entity is about to come out of this circle is going to be baring a fate worse than death.

    Jason would know. He’s been dead.

    …Actually speaking of being dead. Jason does know someone from the Ghost Zone with enough sheer audacity to help him fight what very well could be an actual demon.

    With a mental ‘fuck it’, Jason begins to chant.

    AKA: Jason and Danny became friends in the Ghost Zone. This is about to be everyone’s problem. Batman just wants to know who this illusive teenager is. Because he’s a meta. Obviously. Not for adoption reasons. No siree, not him.

    College Graduation. I never thought I'd see the day.

    Between cramming for tests, punching animal themed super villains, and failing to juggle a social life in the mix, I honestly thought I'd just...not make it I guess. Thankfully, I was wrong. Finally about to get my bachelor's in Biochemistry, minor in Biophysics, after so many endless months studying and fighting crime, I finally got what I need to do science for actual hard cash!

    This fic picks up after Part One of »Shadow of Doubt« (Chapter 10) – it is recommended to have read »Phantom of Truth« and »Shadow of Doubt« by HaiJu up to the noted chapter.

    After his mother, convinced Danny was a ghost impersonating his son, shot at him, Danny ran away from Amity Park. He ends up in Gotham without a plan and little to no knowledge. He only knows that he cannot fall into the hands of the Bats, who would certainly return him into the hands of the Guys in White. But Lady Gotham has other ideas and Red Robin just cannot resist a mystery he cannot solve.

    Each chapter around 10k words.
