Now, over the centuries, Thomas has gotten used to his own state of undress, and managed to shake off any shame about it. The Captain, however, was a different story: the man always looked so prim and proper, so buttoned up, and just overall… fully clothed. Thomas had never glimpsed an inch of his skin below his neck or above his wrist. Witnessing so much arm was a shock to his system.
OR, in a true repressed-regency-gentleman fashion, Thomas has many feelings about the Captain's hands.
