Summary
There is a gun pointed right in his direction and a guard telling him not to answer and to kill the lights and sirens. He hates to admit it but he is terrified. Not for himself but for Eddie, the flashbacks of the sniper attack still fresh in his mind.
He hears Eddie react in the back of the ambulance but he doesn't say a word. He just continues driving and continues listening to the guard's instructions ( by now he is sure these aren't the prison guards). He drives and drives until he is told to stop where no one sees them.

Summary
"No, let me go! Buck, help me!", Chris's distressed voice makes them turn around and Buck's stomach and lungs feel like they are slowly filling up with water. The shouting of the little boy reminds him too much of their time in the tsunami.
Buck is frozen. He wants to shout at the masked men who are trying to pull Chris away but his legs feel too heavy. Bobby's voice brings him out of the trance-like state.

“I’m going to miss this,” Buck says with a sigh. "I’m going to miss you, and Christopher.”
“Don’t go then,” he says, whipping away the cold sweat beading on his forehead and the tips of his fingers.
"You know I can't do that,"
"Why did you call me?" Eddie asks, swallowing the sob rising in his throat.
"You said you were just a phone call away.” Buck shrugs “I was so scared that night; I just wanted not to be alone."
"You were hurt, you could have called for help. I was living in Texas." He can feel a tear slide down his cheek "Why did you call me? I couldn't have saved you.”
Buck smiles brushing away a strand of Eddie's hair "You didn't pick up the phone. It went to voicemail.”
"Buck-" another tear drops,
"There's nothing you can do Eddie, I'm not real." He brushes another tear away his fingertips brushing his skin "None of this is,"
he leans down putting a soft kiss on his temple, "You need to wake up Eddie," He smiles at him, interlacing their fingers, "You need to wake up right now.”

Bonnie startled before recalling the printed name tag on her chest and had to chuckle as she jotted down the young man's order. "You got it, hon."
"Derek," she thought she heard him say then whipped her head up to stare at him, her eyes wide with disbelief. He was extending a polite hand to her, grin bright on his handsome face. "My name's Eric, it's been a pleasure chattin' with you!"
It took all of her will power to keep from trembling while she took his soft hand in hers and shook it. "Pleasure's all mine, Derek."
"Oh, sorry, it's Eric, actually."
She smiled. "Course it is."

"Lucas, seriously, calm down. It's just a broken condom. I can get tested for... you know, the standard stuff. It's not the end of the world. Just take a deep breath."
Lucas let out a sound that was half sob, half hysterical laugh. He backed up until his spine hit the bedroom wall, sliding down slightly as if his legs could no longer support his weight. He looked at Buck like he was looking at a dead man.
"Evan," Lucas said, his voice dropping to a devastated, trembling whisper. "I should have told you. I swear to god, I should have told you before we even left the bar, but I didn't think... I've never had a condom break on me. Never. I am so careful. I am so, so careful."
"Told me what?" Buck asked. His voice didn't sound like his own.
Lucas closed his eyes, a tear escaping and tracking down his pale cheek. He swallowed hard, and then he looked Buck dead in the eye.
"I'm HIV positive."
