A new mod pack on Hermitcraft allows the hermits to make all kinds of new potions but they’re more complicated than your typical Minecraft potion. Gem is sure that she has managed to brew up a potion that would allow her to prank Impulse but when she drinks it nothing happens. Disappointed she carries on her day only to find that all of the hermits are acting weird, all except for Pearl that is.

Genuinely it is not ! My !! Fault !!! that the mail is always late. Blame the stupid heroes and villains for always fighting at places where it’ll disrupt the mail. Do you know how many times i’ve tried to walk past these fights and gotten burnt/hurt/covered in radioactive goo? Way too many. This is not my fault nor the fault of any workers in the hermitopia branch of pet and i refuse to say otherwise. What do you want me to DO.

Gem shuffled over to the electronic till a couple paces to her left. "Right." She hovered a finger over the screen. "What's your order."
"I'm gonna get a BLT burger—"
Gem relaxed, the tension leaving her shoulders. It was a normal burger this time; thank god.
"—with some sliiiiight modifications," Pearl added.
Oh no. And just like that, Gem's defences snapped back into place.
"It's not that many," Pearl said in a tone that was probably meant to sound reassuring, but only made Gem more suspicious, "just a few subtractions, and one very important addition."
Gem had a sneaking suspicion of what that "very important addition" was going to be.
Without waiting for Gem's go-ahead, Pearl continued rattling off her order: "So for the BLT burger, I want the meat, tomato, and lettuce taken off of it, but I still want the sauce. In fact, can you add extra ketchup to it too?"
Then she said what Gem had been dreading hearing: "And can I get extra pickles on that? But I don't have a specified amount of pickles I want . . . Oh, I know! How about you put my burger together at the 'make your own burger' counter, and you keep adding pickles until I tell you to stop?"
