Azriel and Gwyn are mated and have been for several years living in their own home in Velaris. Things have been going well for them. Nesta and Cassian are living happily at the house of wind and Rhysand and Feyre of course at the River House.
But nothing can ever stay calm for our families, there is always another a battle fight another crisis to contain in Prythian. Even if it is within their own families. Of course, there will be smut, fluff and mentions of violence and past sexual trauma.

Unexplained elements in the source material, such as the identities of the unnamed Faeries Feyre kills Under the Mountain, are supplemented with new, original characters. The entirety of this story is in-line with the source material (in other words, plausible) with the exception of Feyre's hallucinations in the prison cell and the afterlife (which have been amended to better suit the Night Court).

Juno answered with a dramatic eye roll and folded her arms in a huff. She turned to walk into their new apartment, nearly hitting Gwyn with her leathery wings as she did.
Why hadn’t anyone told Gwyn how awful she’d feel as a mother when her daughter became a teenager? Everything she did was wrong, uncool, or embarrassing. Although maybe Juno had the right to be upset with her this time.
