Kim is not a stalker. A stalker is someone who harasses or persecutes with unwanted and obsessive attention. He’s not stalking Chay, as Chay has frankly no idea Kim is keeping tabs on him. And, well, protecting him. He’s not stalking Chay, he is just smart enough to listen and watch for the information that might be useful to him.
He respects Chay — and more importantly, his boundaries — and knows that he might not have been the most considerate or thoughtful but he did try to apologize and did try to atone for hurting Chay.
So, no, he’s not a stalker. All he wants is Chay’s comfort and safety and he understands that Chay needs to be a little rebellious, to prove to Kim that he is better off without him. And sure. Maybe that’s true. But Kim hasn’t grown up as the youngest mafia prince only to give up. Chay will come back around. He’s sure of it.
