“You should’ve bought more than one. I did tell you at the time.” Charles speaks, soft and dripping like honey dew. Batting blue eyes that struck Erik’s heart naturally. Every damn time. “It’s the washing machine. I’m telling you. Stealing your clothes.”
Erik, now facing Charles as he was preening— almost crawling— across the bed towards him, reaches a hand out to cup under his chin. Rough fingertips finding the smoothed skin where only slight stubble, hidden and shaved away was found. Groomed, was a better word for it. “I suppose I should’ve considered the fact they would go missing rather mysteriously, is that right?”
A delicate purr leaves Charles again, craning their back and head inwards and towards Erik, inclining. “We all have our flaws.” Comes untethered, he was good at keeping his focus. “Even you.”
Or; Charles is nesting, Erik simply cannot deny the pure adorableness that seeps off of his mate.
