From the moment Gen learned of Senku’s existence, Senku has been a miracle worker. Tracking the days of his petrification, crafting cola from almost nothing, going head to head with enemy after enemy, Senku has always been on an entirely different level. Seeing him like this, so calm and collected as he surrenders to the difficulty of their situation disturbs Gen like nothing else. He’s supposed to be ridiculous. He’s supposed to suggest something wild, like making a pit stop on Mars, or setting up a moon base, and then gallivanting off into the sunset after they’ve won.
He's supposed to stay by Gen's side.

Maybe being awake alone in the dark for thousands of years, having the fate of the world on your shoulders, realizing your dad is dead, getting murdered and brought back to life, having to kill someone, and having one little mistake mean death for everyone, is a little bit to much for a teenager to have to deal with all alone.
He felt himself almost choke on his own breath, his head hurt and so did the rest oif his body. It hurt to breathe. God, he hated panick attacks. He turned over and shoved his head into his blankets, letting out heavy sobs mixed with a few coughs.
he liked the thought of it being the last, quite a lot actually. If he wasnt tierd, panicked, and unsensible, he wouldve been freaking out at the thoughts racing through his mind, but he wasnt thinking logivally, all he saw was a way out, an easy, immediate way out, of the constant hell he had been living in.
Senku has a really bad panic attack, and ends up trying to end it all, luckily, he fails at that.
