Summary
Bruce Wayne isn't a bad father. He's trying. God, he tries.
He wakes up early to make sure the kitchen is stocked with what Alfred calls "whatever chaos food the children have decided they need this week". He skims case reports while figuring out how to bake eggless muffins for Damian's new dietary phase. He installs bulletproof windows in everyone's rooms and tracks all their phones, not because he wants to be controlling. He just needs to know they're alive. That's all. That's everything.
And still. Still, one of them storms off at least once a week. They say he's cold. That he doesn't listen. That he only cares when they're wearing the suit. So he tries another approach: he gives them space. And it only makes it worse. -

He lets himself be pushed softly back toward the bed, Clark never letting him get far enough for their lips to fully detach. “Clark,” Bruce tries, the sound muffled as he gets caught in another bruising kiss.
“What is it, Bruce? Tell me,” Clark says, his voice laced with desire.
Bruce gets his palms on Clark’s chest, nudging him back. He catches his breath for a moment, head muggy with the pleasure coursing through him, begging for more. “I want another baby.”

"When they finally arrived at the Cave, Selina dismounted gracefully, tossing her whip onto a nearby workbench. Bruce was slower, his movements stiff as he swung off the bike.
“You okay?” she asked, her voice softer now, less playful. She glanced at him with those sharp, discerning eyes, the ones that saw too much.
Bruce avoided her gaze, pulling the cowl off as he moved toward the bathroom. “Selina, I’m fine,” he said brusquely. “I’m going to shower.” He was already peeling off his gloves, blood smudged on the tips."
