When he finds out that he's been born into a famous xianxia novel, he's resigned. When he figures out what exactly the novel is… now, he's pissed off.

Summary
Wei Wuxian comes back first and waits for his Lan Zhan to come back to him.
A year after they get married, Wei Wuxian dies when power backlashes on him while he and Lan Wangji are working on cleansing the Burial Mounds of the resentment by putting the thousands of souls that permeate the place. Lan Wangji, not ready to accept losing Wei Wuxian yet again, uses an array Wei Wuxian created to travel back in time and fix the wrongs that occurred and to make sure his husband didn't die in the first place.
“Lan Zhan,” his voice suddenly clogged with emotion.
And Lan Zhan looks up. And oh gods above, he looks and looks. His eyes rake down Wei Wuxian’s body, and the heated gaze leaves a trail of fire everywhere they look, and Wei Wuxian burns. Lan Zhan eventually swallows and asks, “May I visit with Wei Ying?”
Wei Wuxian wants to cry and throw himself at Lan Zhan.
His Lan Zhan was finally here.

Or:the one in which WWX and LWJ married a few short months into WWX's stay into the Burial Mounds with the Wens for protection, the Lan Sect Elders seem to think they can force a woman into that marriage by saying it is for A-Yuan's benefit, and LWJ and WWX finally agree to it, only to one-up them by marrying MXY, saving him from a terrible fate in the process.
