Mitsuki was never softer with him than in those moments, sleep-heavy and blearily looking up at him just to curl herself around him, Masaru effortlessly and thoughtlessly joining to sling an arm across both their hips.
It feels like that now, being surrounded by them. He wants to duck his forehead against her chest, feel her heart against his cheek, feel the steady rhythm of Masaru’s lungs on his back, their legs tangled up together.
