Stopped at chapter 5. Max does time hopping and is currently in a future where her and Chloe are on the run. In hiding with fake names, dyed hair, super rich. Max “erased” the one in this timeline when she popped into it. Chapter 5 seems to be Chloe telling Max their story.

Summary
An alternate universe where Chloe gives Max the push she needs to keep in touch with her best friend and continue their friendship during Max's time in Seattle. There's going to be a good amount of texts between the characters but the two will visit each other often, and there will be some perspective changes between Max and Chloe. This fanfic is mainly Pricefield but there is a short period of time where there is some Amberprice, it does end mutually though, and Rachel doesn't become an obstacle to Max and Chloe's relationship if that's a worry for anyone.

Summary
There are no perfect endings, but Max is going to try them all, make choice after choice, until she finds one that she can accept. A story exploring a broken Max filled with anxiety, coping with trauma, and trying to hold to the tiniest glimmer of hope through multiple timelines. This is a slow burn cutting between what Max hopes is her final timeline, and her first timelines after being forced to make that fateful choice at the lighthouse.
