Summary
"Hyung," Minho says, on the way to a schedule, when it is only the two of them in the car. "Is there something different about me?"
"Huh?" Hajoon asks, before he finds Minho's gaze in the rear-view mirror. "In what way, Minho?"
"Everyone is acting weird," Minho grumbles, knowing his manager well enough to know that the older man struggled to lie about anything. Hopefully, he knew what Minho was referring to. "Yennie spoon-fed me grapes this morning, claiming I needed the extra vitamins. And I try to accommodate all their little instinctual behaviours but this is not normal, hyung."
"Oh," Hajoon mumbles. "That thing."

Leading them had given him purpose, learning to love them had breathed the life back into him.
And losing them had been falling. Endless falling while hitting rock after rock on the way down, until existence had been just one bloody battered void, that kept swallowing him.

Summary
As he left, the manager stopped him again.
“You’re doing well, you know.”
Seungmin wished the words eased the pain and shame twisting in his chest. They didn’t. He smiled anyway.
“You’re the balance, Seungmin. This team wouldn’t work with three omegas.” He heard it every time, like it needed reinforcing. Like he didn’t repeat in front of a mirror every night.
“Thanks, Hyung," Seungmin said.

Summary
Then he takes out the other document he requested, which, if he were being honest, he totally forgot about.
The certificate is printed on card paper, not the thin, almost flimsy paper that his birth certificate and their parents’ marriage certificate are normally printed on. There’s that standard seemingly random pattern printed on the sheet, faint specks of yellow that look decorative, but Jeongin knows it’s a layer of proof that the certificate is legitimate.
Automatically, his eyes skim over the printed letters, his still-sleepy brain half-engaged.
Name: Yang Jeongin
Date of birth: February 8, 2001
His eyes move down the page, mentally ticking off every correct detail—
“Huh?”
For a moment, the words refuse to organize themselves into meaning, even as it’s the only thing occupying the lower two-thirds of the page.
Spouse: Bang Christopher Chan
Date of Marriage Registration—
Two years ago. Almost three.
His blood runs cold.
He reads it again.
Really, it's ridiculous. How could Jeongin and Chan have been married this entire time?
