Summary
Bruce Wayne doesn't have a soulmate. How does he know that? He has never felt pain that wasn't his own. That's fine with him though, people who think that love is the only thing just haven't experienced the pain of the real world.
Clark has a soulmate that... gets hurt a lot. Not in the way that they're clumsy and constantly bumps into table legs and stubs their toe. No, his soulmate gets hurt in the way of black eyes every other day and broken ribs. Well, until one day when that stops. Clark stops believing in pain and stops believing in love. When the two meet, they are immediately drawn into each others orbits and begin to feel things they had never felt before. Featuring a Bruce full of self doubt and a Clark... Well just Clark. In other words,
a silly soulmate au filled with Bruce angst because he is my favorite and falling in love. Yayyyy
Only one person asked for this and it wasn't me. -
